Why do we care? George Washington... First Commander in Chief of the Army, first President of America, and first in the hearts of his countrymen. Washington is a historically fascinating figure who risked life, reputation, and fortune for the future generations.

Our newest Patriot, Joshua Loper will tell us about the George Washington Witness Tree of Delaware, Located in the yard of the historic Hale-Byrnes House. Joshua will tell us his efforts to save this 300+ year old sycamore tree that witnessed the September 6th, 1977 council of war led by General George Washington. He also will tell us of Delawares newest museum dedicated to that tree. Menu is a-la-carte.
